TikTok Success: Reserved gains +60% in ROAS by applying branded templates to Smart+ campaign

The OPPORTUNITY

Reserved is establishing a strong presence on TikTok, and saw an opportunity to improve Smart+ campaign efficiency by moving beyond standard product-image creatives.

THE SOLUTION

With ROI Hunter’s template editor, Reserved could apply creative enhancements to their ads, reinforcing their brand and product name, making the ad look more attractive and engaging to the users. 

The goal was to make their products stand out while leveraging the strength of the Reserved brand, unlocking stronger performance.

A/B Testing the approach

To measure the impact of these creative enhancements, the “templated” ad was tested against the brand’s Business-as-Usual setup over a four-week period, focusing on three key metrics:

  • Return on Ad Spend (ROAS)
  • Cost per Mille (CPM)
  • Impressions

The test was conducted simultaneously in Germany and Romania, enabling Reserved to see how the creative enhancements performed across two different markets.

THE RESULTS

After 4 weeks experimenting with creative enhancements, the impact was clear. Reserved observed measurable improvements across all key metrics in both tested markets. 

In Germany:

📈 +60% ROAS 
🛍️ -19% CPM 
💸 +20% Impressions

In Romania:

📈 +26% ROAS 
🛍️ -17% CPM
💸 +20% Impressions 

The success of the experiment turned this approach into Reserved focus strategy, now looking to expand the use of creative enhancements across more markets, combined with strategic segmentation from ROI Hunter and full-funnel insights. 

What began as an experiment in the German and Romanian market gained momentum fast making it part of their global digital advertising strategy.
