 We need you because you are going to become the right hand of our Financial Controller, you will help us streamline and secure all the processes that are crucial for the companys smooth operation, you will help us innovate as well as abandon to make way for progress in every part of our workload. We now seek an experienced

Financial Accountant to join our team in London.



In this role, you will:

  • Financial accounting - processing of various general ledger items within a pre-defined framework.
  • Tax accounting - regular VAT return data processing and preparation, preparation of the annual tax return.
  • Cashflow management -reconcile accounts payable management, accounts receivable management, payment processing
  • Ensure timely bank payments and audit financial transactions
  • Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
  • Consolidation - cooperation on monthly and annual corporate group consolidation.
  • External audit - cooperation with the external audit team on an annual audit and pre-audit procedures and reporting on the company’s financial liquidity
  • Reporting - cooperation on month-end process, data preparation and reporting.
  • Compliance with local GAAP and legislation, tax legislation and IFRS.
  • Close cooperation with the Head of Finance and the group’s Financial Controller.
  • Maintaining day-to-day financial operations of the group - AR, AP, cash monitoring and collection, booking of various financial transactions (including intragroup).
  • Maintenance of company bank balance in one of the areas of operation;
  • Audit financial transactions and documents and publish financial statements on time
  • Responsibility for financial data consistency in one of the areas of operation;
  • Avoids legal challenges by complying with legal requirements.
  • Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings



Key Requirements

  • Have a University degree in finance and/or accounting is an advantage.
  • 3 years of relevant experience in an accounting environment (start-up is an advantage).
  • Knowledge of local GAAP and tax legislation, knowledge of IFRS principles is an advantage.
  • Thorough knowledge of local tax legislation and taxation best practices.
  • Willingness and healthy momentum in learning about local accounting and tax legislation (area specific).
  • Mandatory computer skills - spreadsheet software (MS Excel, Google Sheets), hands-on experience with an accounting software.
  • Willingness and initiative to learn new skills and gather knowledge in the field of financial accounting, tax accounting and reporting.
  • Sense of responsibility, good communication and interpersonal skills, positive attitude and flexibility, natural team player.
